Steel leaf springs are a type of suspension component made from layers of curved steel strips. These strips are stacked and secured together with a center bolt. When the vehicle encounters bumps or uneven terrain, the leaf springs flex and help absorb the shock, providing a smoother ride.
The Steel Leaf Spring Kit is engineered specifically for MY2019+ Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks factory-equipped with composite overload leaf springs. This Kit is not compatible with the Hybrid Leaf Spring (YD9).
