Designed to be mounted to a wall or post with installation available through a professional electrician (like those found through Qmerit, a GM-preferred installer), this charger also incorporates a weather-resistant housing, allowing for use in indoor and outdoor environments. Please note: All charging requires a circuit suitable for the heavy-duty, continuous load of charging. Speed of charging may vary based on vehicle type, battery condition, input voltage, vehicle settings and outside temperature. This charger is Wi-Fi-enabled to allow for setup using the myChevrolet and myCadillac mobile apps. Downloading your vehicle’s brand app will also allow you access to future improvements.
This charger will work with both GM and non-GM electric vehicles. It is compatible with any EV that has a NACS charge port. Check your vehicle Owner’s Manual for specifications. Charging times and speed may vary based on vehicle configuration, environmental conditions, battery state of charge and home grid capability. The GM PowerUp 2: NACS Charger is capable of a maximum of 48 amps at 240 volts. If a 208V power supply is used, the GM PowerUp 2: NACS Charger will be limited to 10-kW capability.
