Yes. Chevrolet strongly recommends that you use only floor mats designed specifically for the make and model year of your vehicle, and that they are properly installed and secured. If a floor mat is the wrong size or is not properly installed, it can interfere with the pedals. Interference with the pedals can cause unintended acceleration and/or increased stopping distance. Always make sure the floor mat does not interfere with the pedals and is properly secured.
Cleaning your vehicle’s floor mats regularly can help extend their service life and your car carpet appearance. Make sure to vacuum your floor mats before wet cleaning. When cleaning your vehicle’s floor mats, always use the proper cleaning products for the specific material. Also, pre-test the cleaning products to ensure they will not alter the color or texture of the mat.
