Good Maintenance Practices:
- To help prolong the life and appearance of your assist steps, regularly clean and maintain them.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Worn or missing step pads - Step pads can wear down, crack, or break over time, which lessens their gripping ability and the effective function of the assist step. Missing or damaged step pads should be replaced when damage is noticed.
- Visible damage to the assist step - Minor visible damage, such as surface rusting, can be removed or repaired; however, if your assist step displays damage that could compromise its proper function, replace your assist step or any other affected components.
