It is developed using a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating process that helps create a robust finish that’s highly resistant to chipping, peeling and cracking. Bright PVD wheels feature a strong outer coating that’s highly tolerant to corrosion and helps withstand extreme weather conditions.
To help maintain the appearance of Bright PVD wheels, cleaning with mild soap and water is recommended. Use a soft, clean cloth and towel for washing and drying. Avoid the application of chrome cleaners, waxes and abrasive polishes because they can damage the wheel finish. Similarly, avoid car washes that utilize silicon carbide tire/wheel cleaning brushes.
Clean wheels regularly to remove brake dust and road grime. See your vehicle Owner’s Manual for wheel care and maintenance information.
Rotate wheels and tires as outlined in your vehicle Owner’s Manual.
These wheels require installation by an authorized Chevrolet/GMC Dealer and may require calibration if wheel differs in diameter from original equipment.
On the sidewall of the spare tire, there will be a combination of letters and numbers identifying the size of the tire. If the spare tire shows 255/70R17, a new tire will need to be purchased if upgrading to accessory wheels on a light-duty truck.
